Evelyn Sharma and Fiancé Tushaan Bhindi All Set to Tie the Knot Next Year
Evelyn Sharma was over the moon when her longtime beau Tushaan Bhindi proposed to her in the cheesiest and most romantic way. She now talks about their upcoming wedding preparations!
October 8 was a special day for actor Evelyn Sharma. She was over the moon when her longtime beau Tushaan Bhindi proposed to her in the cheesiest and most romantic way. While the proposal seemed like something we get to see in typical fairytale movies, Tushaan went down on one knee and made her wear a beautiful ring at the Harbour Bridge in Sydney. An elated Evelyn instantly said ‘Yes’. The couple is all set to walk down the aisle and are busy planning their “big fat wedding”. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Evelyn said, “We might have both Hindu-style wedding with pheras and a chapel wedding as well.” We hear wedding bells!
She added, “There are so many beautiful places to select from for our destination wedding and honeymoon. The dates are yet to be finalised but the wedding is definitely happening next year.” The couple first met on a blind date last year, which was set up by a mutual friend. “That’s the only secret of our love. Tushaan is a wonderful person and he amazes me every day with his compassion. He strives to become the best version of himself and we both share a passion for philanthropic causes,” she said, adding that he is extremely close to her family members and makes a great amount of effort with them.
On the work front, Evelyn, who was last seen on the silver screen in this year’s Saaho alongside Prabhas and actor Shraddha Kapoor. However, marriage plans do not mean she will stop working. She wishes to keep working harder towards a flourishing career. I’ve always been very picky with the projects that I take up and I’ll continue to do the same. I believe there are different seasons in life that require different approaches. There’s more to life than money and fame. For now, it’s time to settle down,” says Evelyn, adding it will be difficult for her but she is ready to shuffle between India and Australia for work after marriage.
