Shadowhunters

The fantasy show is based on a series of young adult books by Cassandra Clare. It follows Clary Fray aka Clarissa Fairchild, who discovers a surprise concerning her life on her 18th birthday. The teenager finds out she comes from a long line of human-angel hybrids called Shadow Hunters who are tasked to protect the humans from the demons.

The show stars Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Matthew Daddario and Emeraude Toubia in lead characters.

Lucifer

Bored with being the Lord of Hell, the devil relocates to Los Angeles. In LA, Lucifer Morningstar opens a nightclub and forms a connection with a homicide detective. The show stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro.

What/If

This steamy suspense is full of thrills. Desperate to secure funding for her med tech startup, an idealistic scientist and her husband strike an outrageous deal with a mysterious investor. The mysterious investor is played by Renee Zellweger. The show also stars Jane Levy and Blake Jenner.

Dynasty

This two-season comedy-drama has been talk of the town. The reboot of the 1980s classic prime-time soap, the show follows two of America’s richest families – Caringtons and Colbys – as they feud for control over their fortunes and their children. The show is narrated primarily from the perspective of two women at odds – Fallon Carrington, daughter of billionaire Blake Carrington, and her soon-to-be step mother Cristal.

The show cast includes Elizabeth Gillies, Nathalie Kelley and Grant Show.

The Society

“When everyone else mysteriously vanishes from their wealthy town, the teen residents of West Ham must forge their own society to survive,” reads Netflix description. This coming of age show follows busloads of high schoolers headed off to a camping trip. They are forced back due to a storm only to discover that the town’s adults are gone. The show is a modern take on Lord of the Flies.

It stars Kathryn Newton, Gideon Adlon and Sean Berdy among others.
