As the end of Ramadan draws near, everyone’s busy planning how to spend their Eid holidays. The government announced the dates for Public sector leave this morning, while private sector still awaits an announcement.
For the public sector, the government announced that the holiday will last till the third day of Shawwal. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has declared that Eid Al Fitr holidays for federal entities in the UAE will begin from Thursday (June 14), the 29th Ramadan. That means, Eid Al Fitr falls on Friday, June 15, then the holiday will last until Sunday, June 17.
