The committee will measure employees' level of happiness
According to a report in Gulf News, Dubai Parks and Resorts, whose theme park attractions include Legoland and Bollywood Parks, recently announced the launch of an employees' happiness fund to improve the life and positivity of its staff.
The Happiness Fund will reportedly be made up of an employee’s voluntary contributions and will provide grants to staff members during life events, such as celebrating births, wedding anniversaries or for medical assistance.
Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Parks and Resorts was quoted saying, “We remain in the business of fun, so it is extremely essential for all our workers to make sure that every interaction with a consumer is a pleased and enjoyable moment. Dubai Parks and Resorts new Happiness Fund will be moneyed by workers for workers and will provide our whole staff with access to the fund to enhance their happiness.”
According to the UN World Happiness Report 2016, released in March, the UAE was ranked first in the region and the 28th happiest place to live in.
