Dubai’s appeal as a tourist destination keeps increasing by the day as evident from the fact that the city ranked 23rd in New York Times list of “Top 52 Places to Go in 2014”. And now, in a further attempt  to promote the city as a family favourite, Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has sent 100 delegates from the Emirates tourism industry to attend the World Travel Market 2014 in London. Highlighting some of Dubai’s top hotels, attractions and events, the delegates will demonstrate why the city has earned a reputation of being better than the best in the world The delegates will also place an emphasis on future projects especially the three major theme parks - Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, and LEGOLAND® Dubai - scheduled to open in 2016. The Dubai Stand at the event will also feature art and culture through a falconry exhibit and a series of art installations depicting the ever changing skyline of the city along with a daily prize draw giving attendees a chance to win a holiday to the city of dreams. The World Travel Market, currently in its 35th year, is the leading global event for the travel industry and continues to play a vital role in bridging the cultural gaps.
