It portrays Ayushmann Khurrana as an educated but unemployed man, Karam, who has a knack for impersonating women and plays female characters on stage. This unique talents lands him a job at a female friendship centre, where he pretends to be a girl named Pooja, and uses his skill to flirt with male callers. The film’s success has been attributed to Ayushmann’s performance and funny dialogues. It also stars Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, Vijay Raaz and Nidhi Bisht in supporting roles, with each one playing unique and versatile characters who are a part of Karam’s life.
