Disha Patani — who made her Bollywood debut with sports biopic M S Dhoni: The Untold Story — is keen on doing different kinds of films. As per a new report in Deccan Chronicle, the actress recently said, “Be it masala films or content-driven cinema, both have their unique benefits and I want to learn not one, but all aspects of it. So in a way, it has always been somewhere at the back of my mind that I don’t want to stick to one kind of films."
The actress has already appeared in films like Salman Khan’s Bharat, a partition drama, and Tiger Shroff’s action film Baaghi 2. She has also starrred in a Chinese action comedy Kung Fu Yoga. She has finished shooting for Mohit Suri’s romantic thriller Malang, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Khemu. She is now working with producer Ekta Kapoor on her upcoming film KTina, in which she plays a Punjabi superstitious girl. Disha recently shared her first look for the film, which has been written by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is being helmed by Ashima Chibber.
Along with this, Disha is once again sharing screen space with Salman Khan, in his recently announced project Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai, which has also gone on the floors on 1st November. In an interview with the Times of India, Disha shared how she was inspired by co-star Salman. She said, "Salman sir is one of the most humble and kind people I’ve ever come across. There’s this aura about him that makes you feel comfortable around him even though he’s one of the biggest superstars in India. Watching him work is nothing short of inspiring." Disha’s upcoming movies, Malang, KTina and Radhe, are all slated to release in 2020.
