Did Vivek Oberoi Try to Reach Out to Salman Khan Again?
Vivek Oberoi recently put out a tweet with a Salman emoji. Was he trying to reach out to the Bharat star yet again
Salman Khan is known to be moody. He is also known to hold grudges against those who have wronged him and will not hesitate to pull their leg in public when the opportunity provides itself. The recent recipient of his barbs was Priyanka Chopra who had earlier walked out his ambitious Bharat that releases this Eid. Another person who Salman has major beef with is Vivek Oberoi.
However, while he may have his axe to griend with Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi, it does not mean they are not part of his conversations with fans. Priyanka's name, of late, has been popping up with remarkable regularty and unsvoury frequency in Salman's media interactions during Bharat promotions. And then there is Vivek whom Salman has not forgiven for a tantrum thrown in the media way back in 2003. Sixteen years later, Salman refuses to acknowledge Vivek's presence despite every effort by the latter to get a response. Recently Vivek even asked if Salman believed in 'forgiveness'.
Now, there was a recent latest attempt at bridge-building on part of Vivek. This involves the younger actor putting a Salman emoji in a tweet congratulating PM Narendra Modi. Later, Vivek deleted the emoji.Says a source in the know, “The ‘mistake’ of putting a Salman Khan emoji after mentioning ‘Bharat’ was soon rectified. But was it a mistake? Unlike many other actors Vivek handles his own Twitter account. So there is little room for a mistake as far as the content on Twitter goes.”
Sources feel this was Vivek’s umpteen attempt to attract Salman’s attention…and Mr Khan’s umpteenth snub.
A member of Salman’s family says, “What can I say? Some people never learn. They never give up. They refuse to accept facts. That certain people don’t exist for Salman.”
Vivek was recently seen in the biopic of PM Narendra Modi which got scathing reviews from critics but appears to have appealed to some fans.
The actor was recently in the midst of another controversy when he tweeted a meme that was considered disrespectful to his ex, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
