Did SOTY 2 Actor Aditya Seal Compare his Film to Avengers? Here’s What He Says
The Student of the Year Actor got heavily trolled for allegedly comparing his campus flick to the Hollywood blockbuster
Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2 may have got mixed reviews and may be enjoying an average run at the box-office but the memes and backlash from certain quarters is unrelenting. Though SOTY 2 has done better box office business than the previous Dharma release Kalank, some of its actors and their utterances are getting a lot of intense reactions. This time it’s the turn of Aditya Seal who plays the antagonist to Tiger Shroff’s high flying heroism who was heavily trolled on social media.
Aditya Seal made the cardinal error of comparing SOTY 2 to Avengers: Endgame… or so the Internet trolls say, though Seal has a totally different story to tell.
Says the young actor, “I was completely misquoted there. All I said was, the way Avengers has taken you into a world where you start believing and wanting to be a superhero, so are we desirous to take the audience into a different world - the campus St. Teresa and want to make you want to be a part of such a fantasy school. It was an inference not a comparison.”
Aditya feels being a big fan of Avengers he is doubly mortified to be so misunderstood. “I am sensible enough to know what to say and what not to say. However I can’t do much if I am misquoted. I am not delusional or stupid to compare SOTY 2 to Avengers when there are literally no similarities between the two films.”
