Deepika Singh’s mum has recovered from COVID-19
The actress took to Instagram to share to thank the Delhi government
Television actress Deepika Singh Goyal shared a picture of herself with her grandma and mother on Instagram with a caption stating that her mother has returned home after being hospitalised with COVID-19. She also said that her grandmother is still being treated in hospital for the virus.

This comes after the Diya Aur Baati Hum actress used her social media accounts to seek help from the Delhi government when her mother tested positive for coronavirus on June 12th. Deepika had shared a video of herself expressing her sadness that the hospital had no beds for her sick mother. The video went viral and the Delhi government arranged for her mother to be admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
Captioning her Instagram post today, the actress thanked Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and the government for the support she received. Deepika went on to ask her fans to pray for the recovery of her grandmother.
