Did you know Parineeti Chopra was supposed to do Shoojit Sircar's Piku, which released in 2015? Well, you do now! The cutie herself shared the juicy details when she made an appearance on Neha Dhupia's chat show with her best friend and ace Indian tennis player, Sania Mirza. Whilst in conversation with Neha, Parineeti spoke about how she could have starred in Sircar's Piku instead of Deepika Padukone in the movie which also featured Irrfan Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Parineeti went on to enlighten viewers and Neha how things didn't work in her favor. She candidly said; "I didn’t really turn down the film… there was confusion. I was going to do another film at the same time and then that film also didn’t happen, so it was my loss."
Wandering away from her professional career momentarily, Parineeti Chopra turned into a love-guru on Neha's show and gave some solid and wise advice to her single Bollywood co-stars - Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. Giving them a few sensible pieces of advice, Parineeti said, "I think both of them are not really in the space to commit right now so they should continue what they’re doing and when they’re ready, they should only have a permanent girlfriend. I know them, and I speak to them about these things."
The 30-year-old elaborated and stated that one should never concede to the peer-pressure and get married soon. She also asserted that she would give the same advice to both Aditya and Sidharth. "I would say this to Sid and Adi also, do it when you’re ready. Don’t do it just because everybody else is," said Parineeti. When asked if she would offer the same advice to her Namaste England co-star and buddy Arjun Kapoor, Parieenti joked, “I cannot tell Arjun anything. Woh apni life ka malik hai. Wo jo karta hai, he does it when he wants to do it."
Parineeti will next be seen in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar with Arjun, in Jabariya Jodi with Sidharth Malhotra. The talented actress is also starring in the Saina Nehwal biopic and also the remake of The Girl on the Train.
