Deepika Padukone Styles Print in the Most Unconventional Way and We’re Here For It
Deepika Padukone has been serving some major style inspo and we are most certainly here for it. Her recent look in a series of stripes and checks is having a major moment
Deepika Padukone is a renowned name in the industry and has become a force to be reckoned with. She is a global icon and recently saw the release of her first film of 2020, Chhapaak. The starlet is one of the most sought after actresses of Bollywood and has a rather busy year ahead of her. She is recognized for her stellar performances in a myriad of films, her bold sartorial choices and her sense of style. The starlet has been making waves in the industry and never fails to leave heads turning each time she steps out.
There is probably never a time when the Piku actress fails to impress in her stylish looks and has been serving some major style inspo with her Chhapaak promotions of late. She recently teamed a checkered print with stripes and while the look is unconventional, she most certainly stole the show. For her latest look, Deepika Padukone was clad in a knee-length checkered coat in blue and white, under which she wore a horizontally striped shirt in green and white. The outfit was teamed with a plaid pleated skirt and rounded off with a pair of black heels and socks (new trend alert!). The outfit was paired with a nude coloured bag which we feel she could have gone without.
Deepika Padukone had her styled parted on the side and tied back in a ponytail. She opted for an overall bronzed look which was rounded off with defined brows and an earthy-hued pout. This look, albeit unconventional, is hitting all the right style notes in our books.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone recently wrapped up shooting for the Kabir Khan directorial, ’83. She will be seen alongside her husband for the very first time since they tied the knot and will be essaying the role of Romi Bhatia, wife of legendary cricket player; Kapil Dev. The film is all set to narrate the story of how Kapil Dev lead India to victory in the 1983 World Cup. Chhapaak is also faring well at the box office and despite landing in hot waters, continues to bring in audiences.
