Almost a year has passed since Bollywood’s favourite couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot. The couple tied the knot in an intimate and private ceremony in Lake Como, Italy and pictures from the wedding went viral across social media. The couple, who dated for six years before tying the knot, have been making headlines ever since they tied the knot and have been the talk of the town and social media with their PDA and adorable comments on each other’s posts. Now, the Piku actress has revealed what it is really like to be married to Bollywood’s heart throb.
In a recent interview, the actress opened up about life after marriage and what it was really like being married to the Gully Boy actor. She revealed the being married to Ranveer Singh was equivalent to dating him. She also confessed that it was one of the best decisions of her life. While she feels that marriage comes with its added responsibilities, the anxiety that is associated with dating someone was no longer there.
"It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made—that we’ve made—in our lives. I feel lucky because it’s like dating, except you get to see a lot more of each other. Marriage also comes with a sense of responsibility, minus the anxiety or that sense of uncertainty when you’re just dating someone, at least in our case. It’s all those lovely, beautiful things, minus the drama," she told the magazine.
On the work front, both Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are gearing up to be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83 which will narrate the story of legendary cricket player, Kapil Dev and how he led the Indian cricket team to victory in the World Cup in 1983. Deepika Padukone is all set to essay the role of his wife, Romi Dev and the film will mark the first time the duo will be seen on screen together since they tied the knot.
