Deepika Padukone, Kartik Aaryan Slammed for ‘Creating Nuisance’ at Airport
Deepika Padukone and Kartik Aaryan were recently spotted at Mumbai Airport where they practiced the steps to Dheeme Dheeme. Now they are being slammed by netizens
Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Kartik Aaryan set the internet buzzing with a video which still continues to circulate on social media. The two headed to Mumbai Airport where their fans were gathered to watch Deepika Padukone learn the steps to Kartik Aaryan’s latest song, Dheeme Dheeme from Pati Patni Aur Woh; a challenge which has been going viral on social media. The two were spotted practicing away until Deepika Padukone learned all the steps and they danced in front of all their fans.
If you’re a Deepika Padukone fan, then you’ll know that earlier, Deepika Padukone had taken to Instagram and asked Kartik Aaryan to teach her the steps to the song so she too could partake in the challenge. Kartik Aaryan responded, of course, and the two decided to meet at the airport so they could practice the dance and entertain their fans. Now, while they tried to promote the dance, it appears their tactic could have landed them in hot water.
After the video went viral, netizens took to Instagram to express their concern with their actions. Many pointed out that it was a ‘cheap’ promotional gimmick while others called the stars out for “creating nuisance” at a public place like the airport. Many also complained that they chose the wrong spot and that it caused a lot of inconvenience for travellers. While many weren’t impressed with their actions, there were some who were glad to see the two actors together. Here’s the video if you missed it earlier:
