We can hardly believe that it has been almost a year since Bollywood’s favourite couple tied the knot. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with close family and friends in Italy’s Lake Como last December and will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Post marriage, the couple will also be celebrating their first Diwali together and it appears the couple will be spending a lot of time with family this year. The couple is the most loved couple of Bollywood and have been making headlines ever since they tied the knot.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married as per Sindhi and Konkani traditions in Italy and threw a grand reception in Mumbai post wedding. Needless to say, this Diwali is going to be a rather special one for the couple being the first one after tying the knot. In a recent interview, Deepika Padukone opened up about her Diwali plans with her hubby and she revealed that their plans will revolve around family.

“Family time, we extremely value the time we have with our parents and sisters. We will not be working that's the rule and we won't be socialising much. Just family time!” she said. During the interview, the Piku actress also attributed her success to Ranveer Singh and said that she was able to achieve all that she has because of him. “In terms of how comfortable he’s been with my success, or how supportive he is. We’re a good team. We’re still so excited by each other, so inspired by each other. He’s my best friend,” she revealed.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone just wrapped up shooting for the Kabir Khan directorial, ’83. She is also gearing up for the release of Meghna Gulzaar’s Chhapaak in which she will essay the role of real life acid attack survivor; Laxmi Agarwal.
