Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in an intimate wedding ceremony at Lake Como on November 14th, 2018. The couple was greatly loved by their fans and everyone was looking forward to their upcoming wedding. They kept the main wedding event intimate with close friends and family in attendance. The couple later hosted three receptions in India to have fun with all those whom they could not invite to Italy.
On their first wedding anniversary, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh decided to fly with their families to the ancient Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala Tirupati. Keeping the media, a part of their special occasion the details had already been released. As the two got out of the temple after offering prayers, the media surrounded them and the couple happily posed for all. Deepika Padukone dressed in a traditional red and golden banarsi sari with sindoor in her center parting. She was dressed up as a traditional bride wearing heavy gold jewelry. Ranveer Singh looked dapper in an ivory kurta shalwar with an embroidered gold jacket. He also wore a red and golden shawl complimenting his look.
Their family members including parents from both sides and sisters Anisha Padukone and Ritika Bhavnani were also present at the venue.
Ranveer Singh took Instagram to share an image of of the two with the temple in the backgroud. In the post, he cannot seem to take his eyes off lovely wife.
Deepika Padukone also took social media to share an image from their visit to the Ancient Temple. In her note, she thanked her fans and sought the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh came close during the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Ram Leela and fell in love within no time. Although they were mostly seen together, Deepika Padukone never confirmed the relationship. Their wedding was an obvious but surprising event for their fans and everyone was closely following the wedding events.
