Day 2 at Lakme India Fashion Week Was All About Sustainable Fashion
Here's all that happened on the glamorous ramp!
Chola by Sohaya Misra was our favourite from day 2. Known to create easy breezy silhouettes, the designer stuck to the brands aesthetics and showcased a collection that was super chill to say the least. Asymmetrical shirts with similar cut coats thrown over, teamed with loose fitted palazzo styled pants made up this outstanding collection.
TIP: Break free from fitted styles and let yourself lose with chic easy-to-throw-on outfits!
Designer Sunita Shanker unveiled a gorgeous collection made up of chic separates in tones of red, maroon, black and grey. The timeless collection integrated many traditional crafts such as Bandhani from Kutch, Kantha from West Bengal and Bagh prints from Madhya Pradesh, perfectly set on modern and contemporary silhouettes.
TIP: Giving a modern outfit a twist using traditional craft is a win all the way! Think intricate embroidery on cute crop tops, we absolutely love the idea!
