The world has come to a standstill. The only good news there is right now is that thankfully China has not reported any new COVID-19 cases in the past two days. While we finally get to see the light at the end of the tunnel – which comes as a ray of hope to many countries dealing with the coronavirus outbreak right now – people across the globe are being affected in different magnitudes. But the only way to stop the rampant spread of this highly contagious infection is by staying in our homes and practicing self-isolation. With several countries under lock down, people have been compelled to practice social distancing to safeguard their lives and those whom they come into contact with.

From Bollywood to Hollywood, stars have been urging their fans to stay at their homes. Masala! UAE posted a query on Instagram, asking its followers about how they have been spending their time in quarantine. And there were some fun answers! Take cue:

“Playing with my daughter and watching movies, teaching her how to bake,” wrote one user Tasneem Shabana. “Watching movies with family, playing all possible indoor games,” added another. The post was shared on the magazine’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. One Facebook user penned, “Playing chess and carom with kids. Reading books.” Some have been indulging in activities such as crocheting, reading, laundry and cleaning the dishes, while others have been doing “the usual.” Some even posted that they have been trying to take time out and pray to God. There were some hateful comments against the coronavirus, with many feeling like they are stuck in their homes. But, now is the time to be grateful for all that we have, contact old friends, spend time with family at home, eat three meals a day together and appreciate everything that we have been blessed with. Together, the world can combat COVID-19! Every bit helps!
