Ciara Gets Admission at Harvard University
The singer will be commencing her classes soon
Ciara, the 1,2 Step singer will soon be walking the hallways at the Harvard University Business School. According to People magazine, the artist was accepted into the prestigious university's Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program and will be commencing her classes soon at Cambridge.
The program she chose to enroll in at the university is highly relative to her relationship with the pop culture world. Her recently launched company, Beauty Marks Entertainment, is also comprised of a business model that completely supports artists. The female-led firm also puts Ciara at the forefront of new generation entertainers who are also venturing into entrepreneurship as a part of their career. But that's not all. She has also released her first album under the company and overall, her seventh one, similarly titled Beauty Marks.
Apart from excelling in her professional life and now taking on an educational pathway, Ciara has always been a great mother. She's sure to melts people's hearts when it comes to her children, Future Zahir Willburn and Sienna Princess Wilson. She brought Future to the 2019 Billboard Music Awards as her date and would often post pictures of her daughter, Sienna with father, Russell Wilson. Ciara's also very well-connected with the sports world as Wilson plays as a quarterback for the Seattle SeaHawks.
While she's known to have a pretty good work life balance, Ciara will surely need to bring some change in her life. But these aren't too drastic to worry about. She will have to prepare herself to work in group projects and taking on case studies to understand her course better. Some of these case studies will include Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Hamilton: An American Musical, House of Cards and The Walt Disney Studios. According to the Harvard University website, Ciara's intended program will be focused on examining the best practices and winning strategies in the world of film, music, TV and sports.
The university also offers accommodation on campus along with roommates, however, as of now, there hasn't been any update on Ciara's room or living situation.
Ciara is not the first celebrity to have gotten into Harvard University. In the past, many familiar faces such as Natalie Portman, Conan O'Brien, Matt Damon, Ashley Judd, Rashida Jones and the Obama family (Barack, Michelle and now, Malia) have been a part of the prestigious university as well. Here's wishing Ciara congratulations and good luck for the upcoming Fall semester.
