Chris Hemsworth Proves His Love For India and THIS Bollywood Superstar Once Again
Chris Hemsworth was in the headlines for making his way back to India soon for the promotion of Extraction. Now, an old video of him singing an iconic DDLJ song has resurfaced on the internet
If you know Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth, then you cannot not know about his love for India. And if you are aware of the latter, then you must also know his love for Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. Back in 2012, Chris and his wife Elsa Pataky even named their daughter India Rose. Well, that is clear obsession! In 2018, the actor shot for his upcoming film Extraction in the country and he has had a soft spot for the place ever since. Speaking about how the couple chose the name of their now seven-year-old daughter, Chris said, “My wife spent lot of time in India and that was where the name originally came from. But when I went there I felt like a rock star. It was an intimidating yet exciting experience.”
He continued, "I love the place and the people. Shooting there... There were thousands of people on the streets every day and I have never experienced that on set. It was sort of intimidating as it was exciting because there were so many people." Two days ago Chris was in the headlines for making his way back to India for the promotion of Extraction and now an old video of him – proving his love for India once again – has resurfaced on the internet.

Chris can be seen mouthing an all-time classic dialogue from Indian cinema, which was featured in the 1995 Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol Devgn-starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. The footage was shared last year by Chris’s co-star Rudhraksh Jaiswal from the set of the action film Extraction, which was previously titled Dhaka. In the clip, Jaiswal can be seen asking Hemsworth to recite a dialogue that Shah Rukh Khan said in the Aditya Chopra directed film. “Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hain (In big countries, such small issues can occur),” he can be overheard saying and Bollywood fans are having a field day! The video shared by Jaiswal in 2019 is captioned, “And guys there you have it @chrishemsworth saying an Hindi dialogue... it is actually better than his Spanish. This is so cool guys... Love his dialogue delivery and his smile. He just killed it... love you sir! Listen to it carefully.”
