Bollywood legend Rekha might not be making many appearances on screen, but whenever she does, she’s sure to make the crowd jump on her feet. And rightly so! Very aware of her star power Rekha recently made a one-minute appearance on Star Plus’ new show Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and earned crores from being on the screen for only a little while.
Bollywood Hungama revealed that sources within the industry revealed that the actress reportedly received a renumeration of Rs 5 – 7 crores for her appearance in the show’s promo. The source added: “There is no parallel to Rekha Ji! We all know her charisma is boundless and she was also a part of the first promo when the show was launched. The title of the show is inspired by one of the most melodic tracks of Bollywood and this song has a special place in her heart. It’s truly wonderful that she is a part of the second promo as well which talks about trouble in paradise for Sai & Virat’s love story on the show.”
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is about unrequited love. The Star Plus show, starring Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh and Aishwarya Sharma in lead roles, has been one of the most-watched shows. In the latest promo, Samrat played by Yogendra Vikram Singh is seen handing over his wedding ring to Virat and asks him to make a promise to take care of Pakhi after their divorce.
