Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain got married in December, 2021, last year. The duo made their on-screen appearance together for the first time after their marriage.
Recently the newly married couple, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, appeared on a reality show, Smart Jodi, hosted by Maniesh Paul. When asked about ‘tough test’, Vicky Jain hinted how Sushant Singh Rajput’s, Ankita’s ex, death was a challenging phase for their relationship.
Vicky Jain stated, “There cannot be a tougher test for a relationship than what happened suddenly. There was a turn that shocked not just us but the whole nation. Nobody can be prepared for such a thing.”
Ankita Lokhande was in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput from 2010 to 2016 and was pretty close to Sushant’s family. After his sudden demise, Ankita stood by Sushant’s family like a rock and many trolled Vicky for his role. Ankita was questioned for her intentions.
Vicky stated, “A lot of people had wrong notions about things. I was unable to understand it all. I am proud of Ankita that she very boldly handled it. She fulfilled whatever duties and responsibilities she had. Wherever it was needed, she said her piece for herself and that relationship. For that honesty, I always supported her.”
Ankita Lokhande further revealed that Vicky and her were not friends initially but she ended seeking Vicky’s company during the worst phase of her life. Thereafter they came close and started dating each other.
Anita Lokhande stated, “One day, I don’t remember why, I called him up. I somehow just needed him. That was the beginning. We dated each other for three years. In this time, we have understood each other very well. It has been a good phase irrespective of all ups and downs. This man, I want to tell to everyone, not everyone has the capability to stand with his woman through such a difficult time. He was there throughout,”
While talking about the post-scenario of Sushant’s death, Ankita stated, “I have forgotten my past. But in that moment, that thing needed me and I was unable to tell that to Vicky. But he understood me without me needing to say anything.”
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, 2020. Sushant and Ankita dated for more than six years before parting their ways. Ankita and Vicky dated for three years before tying the knot late last year.
