Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone walked the Cannes 2019 Red Carpet. Deepika Padukone was the brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris and Priyanka Chopra was there to promote the documentary film 5B, which is about the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco. According to a report in Elle Magazine, Priyanka stepped on her first solo trip on the Red Carpet at the Rocketman premiere "wearing a stunning Roberto Cavalli dress with Chopard jewels". Priyanka Chopra Jonas would be seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky is Pink where she plays a young woman dealing with a traumatic illness. The film also stars Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar. Just recently, Priyanka Chopra Jonas appeared in the romantic comedy, Isn't it Romantic with Rebel Wilson and Chris Hemsworth. She played a hot yoga instructor and while her role was short in the film, she was looking like a million bucks in the movie. Deepika Padukone would soon be seen as Malti in the upcoming film Chhapaak by Meghna Gulzar. Chhapaak is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. Deepika Padukone's last cinematic appearance was in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat where she played the role of Rani Padmavati opposite Shahid Kapoor and husband Ranveer Singh.
