Huma Qureshi is all set to join the India brigade at Cannes this year. The list already includes Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut.
The actress confirmed the development through a statement issued through her spokesperson. “I’m very proud to be part of the celebration of cinema at a global platform like the Cannes Film Festival 2018. Grey Goose is a brand that represents both excellence and the desire for perfection. It gives me great pleasure to accompany Grey Goose as it toasts the iconic films of this year,” the statement said. The Indian delegation of actors and filmmakers, led by Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Smriti Irani, will head to Cannes on May 8.
While Irani is scheduled to return the next day itself, after the film festival begins, other dignitaries and Government officials are expected to stay for at least five days.
