According to Box Office India, Luka Chuppi has taken its total to 67 crores in seven days. The target of the film, according to the website, was 100 crores. However, as the tables show, the numbers will most likely end their run on 80-85 crores. Luka Chuppi stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon and is directed by Laxman Utekar. The film is the story of a young couple who want to try their hand at a live-in relationship in the small town of Mathura. Comedy ensues as the couple end up actually living together as a married couple without even being married.

Badla continues to have a strong hold on the box office, especially in the metros in Mumbai. The total is 26.5 crores so far and the first week figure might be a total of 36-37 crores. Badla is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and is said to be the remake of the Spanish film The Invisible Guest. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu as the lawyer and the victim respectively.

Total Dhamaal has one of the highest totals of the past month or so, which is 137 crores. The film is a slapstick comedy of a treasure hunt which stars Ajay Devgn and Ritesh Deshmukh. It also brings together Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor together after many years.

Gully Boy has amassed 128 crores in 18 days. The rags to riches story is of a young rapper named Murad Sheikh from Dharavi 17. The film is directed by Zoya Akhtar and written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

Captain Marvel has amassed 45 crores so far and is seeing a slight dip. It so far does not have a dubbed version of the film, which is what may contribute to the drop in numbers. Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers and is the first Captain Marvel film in the Marvel Comics Universe about said character.
