Bollywood stars pay tribute to Saroj Khan

The choreographer passed away today after a cardiac arrest

Legendary choreographer Saroj Khan died on this morning after being admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital Bandra on June 20. The 71 year old went into hospital after complaining of chest pains, although she tested negative for coronavirus she suffered with severe diabetes and other related illness.

According to ANI, her rites of passage were performed this morning at Malvani in Malad, Mumbai. While her daughter said the prayer meet will be held in a few days. Saroj has a son, Hamid Khan and two daughters, Hina and Sukyna Khan.

Saroj had a long and successful career choreographing many of Bollywood’s most famous songs such as Ek Do Teen from Tezaab (1988) and Dola Re Dola from Devdas (2002). Throughout her career she worked with some of the biggest names in Bollywood many of whom have shared their condolences and memories of Saroj on social media today.
