Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan showcased his trademark wit during the launch of his wife Gauri’s coffee table book, “My Life in Design.” In his opening speech, he showered praise on Gauri’s creativity and highlighted the unwavering support she provided him throughout his path to stardom. Engaging in a spirited conversation with the moderator, he offered captivating insights into his charismatic persona, which has captivated admirers across generations.
However, when a man at the event remarked that Gauri was more talented than Shah Rukh Khan, King Khan lost his cool and haughtily exclaimed, “I’m better-looking than you, bro,” Shah Rukh said when an acquaintance of his in the crowd said that Gauri is more talented than him. When the person said that they were talking only about talent, Shah Rukh then shot back, “Looks do everything. Who needs talent when you look like me.”
During his opening remarks, Shah Rukh had earlier spoken well of his wife Gauri, and highlighted her achievements. “She’s designing houses and restaurants and hotels. Except for the rooms in my house, she’s designing everything around the world. But still, I’m a forgiving person, magnanimous by heart,” he joked.

On the work front, Shah Rukh will be seen next in ‘Jawan’. The film, co-produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Gupta under Red Chillies Entertainment, also stars renowned South Indian actors Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in significant roles. The movie is all set to release worldwide on September 7th in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
