She explains that layering was incorporated due to the cold weather and to establish Vidya Balan’s character’s dislike for the cold.

Aastha Sharma also praises Vidya Balan, stating that she is a dream to work with, a wonderful person, and the happiest and most cheerful person on set.

“Adding the fringe was a great idea, since she has never had one before. We did various look tests for the same and finally all of us agreed that it adds a little something to the character. Working with Vidya Balan was absolutely a dream. She’s a wonderful person and also often the most happy and cheerful person around!” shares Aastha.

Sharma further discusses styling Ram Kapoor’s character, an extravagant businessman, mentioning the use of richer fabrics like velvet and brocade in his jackets, as well as layering with sweaters and shirts under trench coats to maintain a sharp appearance.

“Ram Kapoor plays an extremely wealthy and flamboyant businessman. We experimented with thicker richer fabrics – velvet and brocade elements were brought into his jackets. We even experimented with layering and gave him sweaters and shirts under his trench coats. He had to look his sharp best at all times!”

Rahul Bose’s polished presence in the film is highlighted, with Sharma mentioning the use of subdued colors mixed with bright elements in his clothing, British-inspired styling with shirts under sweaters, sharp silhouette cuts, and accessorizing with cufflinks and sunglasses.

“Neeyat,” a captivating whodunit mystery, stars Vidya Balan as Detective Mira Rao, who uncovers that the death of billionaire Ashish Kapoor (played by Ram Kapoor) at a gathering in Scotland was not a suicide but a murder.

The Vidya Balan starrer saw an increase in numbers on Saturday, with a collection of 1.62 crores compared to 1.02 crores on Friday, marking a 60% growth. This sets the stage for a Sunday collection of 2 crores or possibly even 2.25 crores. The film primarily attracts audiences in urban centers and multiplexes, and its focus is not on the interiors or smaller centers. The goal now is to sustain the growth after the weekend.

Currently, “Neeyat” has accumulated 2.64 crores and aims to reach 5 crores by the end of the weekend.
