Kartik Aaryan and Anees Bazmee’s collaboration, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,” was a massive hit, marking a significant milestone in Kartik’s career. Following the success of the second installment, it was reported that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was in the works, bringing Kartik and Anees together again. The makers officially announced the film’s production with a Diwali 2024 release date. Now, we know when the film’s shooting is about to kick off!
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 not only received love from all quarters but also played a crucial role in attracting audiences back to cinema halls in the post-Covid world. Now, reports say that “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” is scheduled to start filming in February 2024. The script is currently in development, with the team finalizing the basic plot for this iconic horror comedy franchise. Bhushan Kumar is personally involved in ensuring that all aspects of this horror comedy are perfected, and he is determined to begin filming in February 2024.
“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is in the scripting stage at the moment and the team has locked the basic plot for the third part of this iconic horror comedy franchise. The idea is now being developed into a full-fledged story. Bhushan Kumar is himself closely working on getting all aspects of this horror comedy right and is committed to take the film on floors by February 2024,” revealed a source close to the development.
Before commencing work on “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” Anees Bazmee is expected to wrap up shooting for his next comedy with Shahid Kapoor, tentatively titled “1722 – Ek Saath Do Do.”
“Anees Bazmee will dive into the pre-production of BB 3 from end of this year. Kartik, Anees and Bhushan are all very careful about the brand Bhool Bhulaiyaa and have zeroed in on an idea that does justice to the world of this film, yet has a unique element in the overall scheme of things. It will be shot over a period of 4 months starting from February,” the source added.
The makers, including Kartik, Anees, and Bhushan, are dedicated to maintaining the essence of the “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” brand while introducing fresh and unique elements to the story.
The filming is set to span over four months, starting from February. Kartik is also set to complete shooting for “Chandu Champion” before beginning work on the horror comedy. While he may consider one more film before “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” he is currently reviewing various scripts and will finalize his next project soon. “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” will be produced by T-Series and directed by Anees Bazmee, and fans can expect its theatrical release during Diwali 2024.
