As biryani lovers we jumped with joy when we were told the acclaimed restaurant will be offering a variety of biryanis this month as part of their annual biryani festival and couldn’t wait to enjoy their authentic taste and flavours and were not disappointed.
We started of the meal by sampling some refreshing mango lassi (Dhs26) that was smooth, creamy, and absolutely heavenly.
We then dived straight into the biryanis – first up was the lehsuni machli biryani (Dhs75) that had fragrant basmati rice cooked with flavoursome pieces of fish that were marinated with garlic and choice spices.

The soya boti mutter biryani (Dhs60) was a true revelation. This vegetarian delight had a healthy mix of soya pieces and green peas, with a hint of saffron and nuts. It was lightly spiced and quite a welcome change.

Up next was the delightful yakhani mutton biryani (Dhs80) that had chunks of tender and flavourful mutton in mouth-watering aromatic basmati rice and was definitely the highlight of the evening.

Lastly, we sampled the bohri murgh biryani (Dhs75) that had succulent pieces of chicken that just melted in our mouth and paired with their tasty raita, the dish was a hit with us.

We rounded of the meal on a sweet note by treating ourselves to some ras malai (Dhs30) that was soft, spongy and a decadent delight.
