Monday is a scary day in the Bigg Boss house and the reason is clear:  Monday is the day of nominations for evictions, which take place at the end of the week.  While some contestants have created havoc in the house from day one, several of these contestants have managed to avoid nominations entirely, despite the third round of nominations taking place in Monday’s episode. Contestants like Paras Chhabra, Siddharth Dey, Siddharth Shukla, Shefali Bagga and Arti Singh who have been the cause of constant chaos in the Bigg Boss 13 house this season have all managed to stay clear of nominations while contestants like Rashami Desai, Koena Mitra and Shehnaaz Gill have already been nominated twice.

Rashami Desai had already been talking about feeling isolated in the house, her bickering with Siddharth Shukla putting a cloud over her other relationships in the house as well.  Clearly distancing herself from Shukla, other contestants were seen discussing how their relationship with Shukla was now impacting their friendship with Rashami, as she sees them as his supporters.

The Monday, October 14, episode brought about a new method for nominations – something which has been a trend in Bigg Boss 13 so far with new, innovative ways introduced to carry out the process.  This week’s task involved the female contestants of the house, a task called BB Bank, with the girls split into two teams – the contestants of the losing team would be nominated for eviction.  The boys served as caretakers for the money.  With each team given a vault, the girls were to try and convince the male contestants to give them money to fill their faults up with and the girls were also allowed to take money from each other’s vaults.  Team A consisted of Devoleena – who is the Queen of the house, so she was safe regardless – and Team B consisted of Shefali, Shehnaaz and Arti.  During the course of this task, many arguments occurred with both teams very competitive.  Devoleena and Shefali even engaged in a fight that got fairly physical.

In the end, Team B is declared the winning team, leaving team A to be nominated. As Devoleena is exempted from nominations, Mahira Sharma and Rashami Desai are the two nominated contestants this week.  Rashami is seen crying, upset over being nominated yet again despite giving her one hundred percent to all tasks.  Rashami confides in Abu Malik, saying that everyone expects that because she has a fan following, she will be saved, but this is not the case.  She also tells him that she feels alone and insinuates that Siddharth Shukla is turning other housemates against her by speaking badly about her.  Abu approaches Siddharth and tries to talk to him about it, but Siddharth explodes over this and becomes angry.  Siddharth declares that Rashami always behaves like this and this is why they cannot get along.

With two weeks left for the first finale, the house is split into two.  What’s interesting is that the housemates, namely Siddharth Shukla and his friends, have denied forming a group in the house, stating that they just enjoy each other’s company.  However, a mere 24 hours later, Siddharth is seen telling Abu Malik that they do not want to add anyone else to their “strong” group of four (Siddharth, Arti, Asim and Shehnaaz), showing clear signs that groupism has begun in the Bigg Boss 13 house.
