Bigg Boss Season 13: Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill’s Fight Shakes Up The Groups In The House

Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill formed a relationship early in the Bigg Boss house, but with their split, the house finds itself split as well

With this fast-track season, bonds have also been formed in the Bigg Boss house very quickly – to say the least.  On the second day, audiences witnessed Shehnaaz Gill and Paras Chhabra growing close.  With  heavy flirtation, by the end of the first week, the two were legitimately looking and behaving like a couple.  Of course, audiences weren’t the only ones to notice, but the two also became the talk of the household – so much so that even housemates like Arti Singh commented on how the entire house is now revolving around Paras, Shehnaaz and their relationship.  While the entire thing seems insincere, it must be said that the entire strategy has come off as a clever one, considering it’s true that the Bigg Boss 13 house revolves around their relationship at present.  However, over the course of week 2, viewers have seen Paras and Shehnaaz grow distant, their trust in each other fractured and their relationship left on uncertain grounds.

On Friday’s episode, Paras and Shehnaaz are een having a discussion about their relationship and the issues that have cropped up between them.  Paras tells Shehnaaz that because of her issues with Mahira Sharma, she has created a “love triangle” between the three – one that does not exist.  And because of the love triangle, all the girls in the house now believe that Paras is untrustworthy.  Paras tells Shehnaaz that she is responsible for this change in behavior from all the contestants.  Shehnaaz apologizes for her error in judgement and cries, leading to the two sharing a hug and resuming their relationship as friends….or have they?

As the episode progresses, a task is conducted where the men each have a bond and the girls are given a bucket of fish.  They are to dump their fish into a male contestant of their choice.  The contestant with the cleanest pond will be saved from nominations next week.  During this task, Shehnaaz dumps all her fish into Paras’ pond.  After the task, Paras has a discussion with Shehnaaz regarding her mistrust of him and declares that if she can’t trust him in the house, he will not have anything to do with her once they leave the Bigg Boss house.

Ironically, shortly after this, Dilljiet Kaur is called to join the conversation and Paras asks her if she threw Shehnaaz’s matka on his order – and though Dilljiet initially told Shehnaaz that it was her own decision, she backtracks when she’s told to swear on her son and says that she told Paras that she would throw Shehnaaz’s matka into the pool.  Shehnaaz is validated on her mistrust for Paras, but is also shocked that Paras could lie to her to this extent.

After this discussion, Paras and Shehnaaz have now officially been seen forming their own groups in the house.  Shehnaaz has joined the group with Siddharth Shukla, Arti Singh, Asim Riaz, Abu Malik and Devoleena while Paras seems to now be in a group with Mahira Sharma, Rashami Desai, Shefali Bagga, Siddharth Dey and Koena Mitra.  What’s odd about these groups is that several of these contestants in the same “group” have been in fights with each other.  Bigg Boss is an unpredictable show where relationships change at the flip of a coin and season 13 is no less!
