Bigg Boss Season 13: Hina Khan’s Dil Ka Supermarket

Bigg Boss Season 13: Hina Khan’s Dil Ka Supermarket

On Weekend Ka Vaar, Hina Khan entered the house to run a supermarket for rations, but provided housemates with a tempting alternate offer

Sunday’s episode of Weekend Ka Vaar saw the return of Salman Khan. Finally informing the contestants that this week was a no-elimination week, he continued discussing issues in the task, as well as questioning Shehnaz Gill for her performance regarding rations. Shehnaz sweetly defends herself by saying that she has never done rationing before, but she is now learning how to do it.  This seems to satisfy him. Salman also confronts Siddharth Dey for his inappropriate behavior towards the females of the house.  Later, Shehnaaz becomes upset with the housemates for cornering Siddharth Dey and painting him as a villain.

Hina Khan joined Salman Khan on stage and discussed the show and its contestants.  She stated that she would have made a connection with Siddharth Shukla had she been in the house.  Stating that she believes Rashmi Desai and Siddharth Shukla have the potential to form a connection as time goes on, she also highlighted the Paras Chhabra and Shehnaz Gill bond.  Hina discusses her favorites, saying that she sees potential in Paras Chhabra and Siddharth Shukla as possible winners of the show, as well as Shefali Bagga and Aarti Singh.  She also talks about the “bahus” and states that she would want them to drop their television image and show the world who they really are.

Once in the house, Hina conducts a task called “BB Dil Ka Supermarket.”  This is a task related to rations and refilling their ration stocks.  While Hina shows off the new supermarket to the contestants, there is a catch, which makes it clear that this task will not be easy.  Contestants are told that they can choose one item from the supermarket to refill – but if they take that item from the supermarket, they will have to sacrifice a voice message from a loved one.

Siddharth Shukla receives a voice message from his sister, while Dalljiet Kaur listens to one from her close friend, actress Sanaya Irani. Rashmi Desai listens to a message from her friend, actress Ankita Lokhande, while Aarti Singh cries listening to a message from her brother, Krushna Abhishek. Hina consoles the girls, telling Rashmi that the finale is only three weeks away and she needs to make herself strong to reach the finale.  With the exception of Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Paras Chhabra, all the contestants choose to listen to their voice messages, therefore receiving only two food items in rations for the week.

Traditionally in Bigg Boss, it has been unheard of to have this many fights and disagreements occur in the house in the first week itself.  With one week down, there are three more weeks left for the first finale. With time passing by quickly and arguments already erupting in the house, season 13 of Bigg Boss is set to be an interesting one.  With nominations set for tomorrow’s episode, the stage is set for more bickering and misunderstandings to take place.
