Bigg Boss Season 13: Highlights of Day 25

In the latest Bigg Boss episode, Asim Riaz, Sidharth Shukla and Paras Chhabra get into a fight over chai and the housemates hiding rations

Bigg Boss is a show that keeps viewers on their toes and season 13 is no less.  It has to be said though that there is a level of predictability.  It is understood by viewers this season that fights will occur several times throughout the day and tasks are rarely completed with the season 13 team.  However, with the finale coming up and new contestants being introduced, the show is sure to get a housemate revamp fairly soon.

As the episode opens on day 26, several of the housemates are outside trying to calm Shefali Bagga down, who is requesting Bigg Boss to open the doors, so she can leave the house. Upset with Shehnaaz Gill’s behavior during the task, Shefali states that she will not stay in the Bigg Boss house if Shehnaaz remains – it is either Shehnaaz or her in the house, but not both.  Things begin to calm down and Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz move back into the house to make tea.

Exhausted from the task, Asim needs tea and so the boys begin hunting for the chai patti, but are only able to find enough for that moment.  Paras is summoned by Sidharth and Paras calmly says that he will make the chai, but Sidharth informs him of the missing chai.  Paras looks surprised, but tells Sidharth that he will find it and not to worry.  He continues to make chai, but Asim angrily walks into the room to confront him about the contestant that is hiding the chai.  However, he asks Paras to start behaving like a man, which angers Paras and an ugly fight ensues.  Both boys become aggressive and Paras asks to be called into the confession room.  While Sidharth, Arti and Shehnaaz take Asim away to calm him down, Asim reappears to fight and begins breaking things and has to be dragged away again.

Several contestants are dragged into the fight, such as Rashami Desai as Asim approaches her, asking why she’s supporting Paras.  Rashami asks Asim to stop shouting at her. Sidharth Shukla asks Devoleena where the chai is and she states that she forgot that she hid it, but can’t remember where she hid it.  Sidharth, Asim, Arti and Shehnaaz are amazed that Devoleena can remember everything, but can’t remember this one thing.

Siddharth Dey is angry about Shehnaaz’s behavior and is discussing it in the garden area with Rashami, who tells him that if he respects women, then he will confront Shehnaaz. Shehnaaz hears the discussion and walks outside, confronting Rashami for instigating Siddharth against her.  Rashami, Devoleena, Mahira and Shefali ask Shehnaaz and Arti to leave, calling them “giri hui’ (low standard) and while Arti goes back inside the house, Shehnaaz continues to fight.  Mahira Sharma loses her patience and gets into a heated fight with Shehnaaz.

Asim tries to discuss Rashami’s stance with her, but Rashami states that she didn’t hear if Paras said anything bad.  Asim becomes frustrated with Rashami, stating that she’s biased and he expected her to stand up for him, but he was wrong.  Bigg Boss calls Sidharth, Paras and Asim into the confession room and tells them that their aggression is not welcome in the house, but the boys begin bickering in the confession room as well.

Outside, the girls continue their tirade against Shehnaaz with Shefali smearing mud on Shehnaaz’s picture, Mahira calling her “moti” (fat) and Devoleena begins to scream and throw things out of frustration.  Sidharth Shukla pulls Rashami aside and tells her that they have known each other for a long time and they are able to respect each other.  He asks Rashami to fight during tasks, but be civilized otherwise. Rashami, instead, begins listing points and defending herself, stating that she never talks badly about him and never fights, stating that everything is fine between them. Sidharth goes back to his group and tells them that talking to Rashami is the equivalent of banging his head against the wall.

Paras tries to make peace with Asim, approaching him and asking him not to repeat the mistakes of insulting his manliness.  Asim, however, tells Paras that he will continue to do so and Paras says he tried and walks away.  Shefali kicks Arti out of their bed and Arti is left walking around in search of a place to sleep.  The next morning, Arti tells Shehnaaz, Sidharth and Asim that her friendship with Rashami is over, even outside the house.

Arti asks Paras to wash the dishes, as they have been left dirty and it was his turn.  Paras says that he is supposed to clean the bathroom, but Sidharth tells him that it’s his duty to clean the dishes.  Paras says that if he needs to then he can’t clean the bathroom to which Asim stops him and tells him that he has to clean the bathroom.  Sidharth interferes and tells Asim that Paras will be cleaning the dishes.  Later, he accuses Asim of hearing half-conversations and jumping in without understanding anything, stating that Paras was making sense and Asim came out looking like a fool.

The Kurkure task is announced with both teams racing to eat the greater amount of Kurkure. Sidharth’s team has his friends, plus Devoleena. His team wins and the winning contestants are given “cash” to purchase Diwali food items for their team.

With tomorrow’s episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, it seems that Salman Khan will be angry with Siddharth Dey, Shefali Bagga and Paras Chhabra. Does this mean Sidharth Shukla, Arti Singh and Shehnaaz Gill will be let off the hook for their behavior during the task?
