It is always a struggle to juggle between caring for oneself and taking care of the newborn post-delivery. For all those mommies out there, whose fitness goals are low on the priority list and are looking for a little motivation to stay fit, television superstar Dalljeit Kaur will serve the purpose. Dalljiet Kaur, who shot to fame with television show Kumkum: Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan and Kulvaddhu and made her TV comeback with Kaala Teeka recently, has surprised everyone with her incredible weight loss story. In an interview, the actress reveals how she lost 25 kg within a year by following a strict diet and working out religiously.
“I weighed around 86 kilos and wasn’t looking like anything people had seen me in my previous shows. I might have taken a couple of years to choose my paths to comeback. I was literally out of the house and had to look for work to earn a living and raise my child single-handedly after the divorce. I was suddenly put into condition to comeback for which I wasn’t prepared,”
Let us get to know about her fitness journey post-delivery and how she maintains her weight despite being so time-bound.

Dalljeit Kaur Diet Plan:

· She went on a protein-rich diet.
· Refrained from eating white flour, fried items, and sugar
· She used jaggery as a substitute for sugar in everything.
· Dalljeit Kept herself hydrated throughout the day

Dalljeit Kaur Fitness Routine:

· Cardio Sessions for two hours every day
· Pilates to strengthen her back as it got weakened post-delivery
· An hour of skipping
· Half an hour of weight-training


When she looks at herself now, the 36-year-old actor, who now weighs 56 kilos, says, “What I would have probably become in 10 years, I became in three years. I’m very proud of the fact that I’m back. I look thinner than ever and younger too. I’ve never been this thin, stronger and fit and I’ve abs also. But I think somebody should not be compelled to get back to work especially after delivering a baby because giving birth is a bigger challenge and we should be given time to come back and love and appreciation for the fact that a woman has delivered a baby.”
Dalljeit Kaur, has recently entered the Bigg Boss house in the season 13. Reportedly, the Iss Pyar ko Kiya Naam Doon actress took almost four years to agree to do the show. Well, let's see what Bigg Boss Season 13 has in store for Dalljeit Kaur.
