Ayushmann Khurrana Talks About His Experience of Working Alongside Amitabh Bachchan

Ayushmann Khurrana, whose film Dream Girl will be releasing this weekend, has worked with Amitabh Bachchan in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo.

Most new Bollywood actors dream of working with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Ayushmann Khurrana, who will next be seen on the silver screen in Dream Girl, has shared his experience of working with Amitabh. The actor recently completed filming for Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo, in which he will be sharing screen space with Big B for the very first time. In an interview, Ayushmann spoke about working in the comedy-drama with the big star and expressed his admiration. He said, “I had met him socially but on the sets, it was very different. He comes really prepared with everything. He knows your lines also. He’s an institution, he’s a living legend. Thankfully, he is that co-actor who’s very collaborative. So, the butterflies were gone when I met him on the set."

The actor, who is currently occupied with the promotions of Dream Girl -- in which he transforms into a girl called Pooja -- also spoke about his upcoming film. Revealing that it had been difficult to transition from male to female voice, and to get the female voice right, he said, “I went to the studio gave 40-odd takes and then hit the right note.”
