Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana has garnered a huge fan following for himself. In a short amount of time, he has given hits after hits, his latest one being Dream Girl. Even his debut film, Vicky Donor back in 2012 became a huge commercial success and it seems like there is no stopping to the actor. With a fruitful career so far and being one of the finest actors of the industry, Ayushmann has a number of films in the pipeline. But this also means that the actor has no free time to relax and take some time off from work.
In a recent interview with DNA India, Ayushmann revealed his plans for the upcoming year. He said, “It’s looking like a hectic but exciting 2020. I have at least three films releasing again and I can’t wait to show audiences the diverseness of these projects. Each one of them has a strong script and the stories are remarkably different.” Speaking of his film choices, he added, “I have always considered real people as the heroes of my films and their lives, circumstances have inspired me to tell their stories on screen. Next year will be no different. I also have several new exciting announcements to share and I will start filming them too. So, I can’t wait for 2020 — it will be my busiest year in cinema.”
In an earlier interview, the actor revealed that while his films often to tend to enter the INR 100 crore club, it’s never his main aim while signing a film. He concluded, “As an artist, I would open myself up to making compromises and I never want to do that. I want to back original content at all times. I thrive by doing good cinema, films that make a mark because they are brilliantly written and brilliantly told on screen.” The 35-year-old star is currently gearing up for the release of his next film, Gulabo Sitabo, in which he stars next to Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan.
