Ayushmann Khurrana Recalls the Lessons He Learnt From Andhadhun as Film Completes One Year Of Release

Ayushmann Khurrana's National Award-winning film Andhadhun has clocked a year today since its release. As the actor took a trip down memory lane and recalled the film’s one-year-long journey, he revealed the lessons he learnt from the Sriram Raghavan-helmed suspense thriller. First and foremost, Andhadhun taught Ayushmann to challenge his inhibitions. "As an artist, I'm a constant learner of the craft of acting. I'm always looking out for films that make me better, that challenge my thinking, my beliefs and opens me up to absorb new things. Andhadhun has truly been one such film that has shaped me as an actor today,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann went all out while praising Sriram and thanking him for trusting his acting abilities and vision. "It taught me to challenge my inhibitions and showcase a completely different side to my craft that surprised me and also pleasantly surprised the audiences. I'm thankful to my director Sriram Raghavan for trusting me with his vision and thankful to the universe for giving me projects like this which I can be so proud of."
Ayushmann won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Andhadhun. The film also won the Best Hindi Film award. The actor also took to Instagram to share a glimpse of Andhadhun on the occasion of its first anniversary. He mentioned that various memories attached to it, stating they will always hold a special place in his heart. His latest release Dream Girl has managed to pave way for the actor in commercial cinema as well. He will next be seen in Bala and Gulabo Sitabo, the latter being with megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Andhadhun also features Tabu and Radhika Apte. There’s no denying that Ayushmann has carved a niche for himself in a short span of time and is on the road to achieving bigger and better with every project.
