Ayushmann Khurrana is truly a motivational story in Bollywood. He started acting and performing when he was just 17. He worked as a radio jockey, a video jockey and a theatre actor for five years before he was spotted by filmmakers. He worked in the media industry for many years before he got his debut in 2012. The Dam Laga ke Haisha star gained success through his film Vicky Donor and now he largely represents the new age of Bollywood. He has taken many risks in his career and luckily, many of them have paid off. With the era of the "larger than life" hero gradually fading and the new epoch of the real, relatable hero is upon Bollywood, Ayushmann stands out with his box office hits and acclaimed films.
Ayushmann is also a talented singer. His song ‘Pani Da Rang’ from the film Vicky Donor became a big hit. He has also sung for many of his films including 'Nazm Nazm' (Bareilly ki Barfi), 'Aap Se Milkar' (Andhadhun) and 'Haareya' (Meri Pyaari Bindu).
Ayushmann has also been a very supportive husband to his wife, Tahira Kashyap who struggled with breast cancer. Ayushmann has two children with Tahira, Virajveer and Varushka. In an interview with IANS, Ayushmann said: “I am glad I have a partner like Tahira who is very brave, strong, who is an inspiration. I have started seeing life through a different prism. I was giving her my time, of course. In the morning I was promoting my films, in the nights I was with her in the hospital... It is not easy.”
