Reports have emerged that a romantic song sung by Atif Aslam has been axed from the upcoming film De De Pyar De which is headlined by Ajay Devgn and Tabu. The film releases on May 17th and is written by Tarun Jain and Luv Ranjan himself. Akiv Ali directed the film and he had previously collaborated with Luv Ranjan in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.

It was announced earlier by musician Amal Mallik that there will be a romantic song in the film which will sung by Armaan and Atif Aslam.

Here is his tweet.

However, while responding to a fan, Amal admitted that Atif's song is no more there in the film.

Several Bollywood films have already moved Atif Aslam's songs from their films in the wake of animosity between India and Pakistan after an incident of terrorist attacks at Kashmir's Pulwama. On February 14th, a truck laden with explosives rammed into a CRPF convoy in which over 40 soldiers were killed. India later attacked Pakistan's Balakot and Pakistan also shot down India's plane capturing Wing Commander Abhinandan. Tensions between India and Pakistan are high as Pakistan has also banned Bollywood content in the cinemas and on tv.

YouTube also briefly deleted all Atif Aslam's songs from their channels before putting them up again. It may be mentioned in this case that several Indian actors have vowed not to work with Pakistani actors or singers in the wake of fresh terror attacks emerging out of Pakistan and Ajay Devgn is among them as well.
