As Sanjay Dutt Prepares to Walk Free, This is What He Will Take Home As Salary

On February 25, when Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will walk free from Pune's Yerawada jail, he will have exactly INR 440 in his pocket. A jail authority has revealed that while serving his sentence, Dutt has managed to save just INR 440 from the salary that he has earned for the jobs he undertook as a prisoner in the last 42 months or so, and the amount will be handed over to him when he will walk-out from prison on Thursday. While last time, when Dutt was at Yerawada jail, he had taken up carpentry but this time he was given the job of making paper carry bags for which he has been earning INR 50 per day. He was also given the task of playing a Radio Jockey. To perform both these jobs, Dutt would wake up at around 5.30am. After doing his workout with other prisoners, he would get busy playing Radio Jockey. Yerawada jail has its own radio station and for everybody's entertainment, Dutt would mouth funny dialogues and announce those songs that would be played for the prisoners, who would dance on the music. Dutt will be following this lifestyle till the time the time he is released on Thursday. It's a coincidence that his reel-life love Vidya Balan had played a RJ in Lage Raho Munnabhai, and Dutt, along with Vidya's character was shown solving people's problems in the movie. The jail authorities have also revealed that Dutt is so excited about his release that he's not been able to sleep well and is seen tossing and turning on his bed in the last few days.
