Ever since his big Bollywood debut in 2012, Arjun Kapoor has come a long way in terms of his career. With a number of high grossing films under his belt, the actor has made a mark in the industry and is currently working on one of his biggest films of his career to date. He may have tasted success in terms of box office numbers in the last few years however; he currently has his hands full with shooting for one of his toughest roles. Arjun Kapoor has recently undergone several changes in terms of physical appearance including his hair and weight.
Not only has Arjun Kapoor gone bald for Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat, but he has also lost a lot of weight to get into the skin and character of a warrior. In a recent interview he spoke about his major transformation and said that the the audience pays a certain amount to watch him on the big screen, and expects him to look a certain way. "I'm capable of looking better. I have to be honest with myself and the audience. They are paying 500 rupees to watch me. They expect me to look the way I looked when I started out," he said.
He went on to reveal that for some time now, he has been suffering from some health issues but is now back on track and looking his best after shedding the pounds. "But I've had health issues, I don't talk about. I come from a slightly obese childhood. Slight is an understatement. That comes with its own ailments. I battle with them constantly. Today, I'm back to feeling my best,” he said.
"I've lost all the excess weight. I'm shooting a film where I'm bald and my director is happy with the way I'm looking. I believe I look like a warrior. There's a certain physicality that the role needed. I was able to achieve that," added the 34-year-old actor. Arjun took to Instagram to share a picture of his transformation and well, the boy did good! Panipat, which also stars Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt, is slated for release on December 6.
