In fact, just as we started missing women cops in action, Rani Mukerji starred in and ironically the balance of the universe was reestablished and the birds were chirping again. Soon after, Kareena Kapoor followed suit and she is set to don the khaki vardi for Angrezi Medium together with Irfan Khan and the fans can't wait to see her get in action. According to rumors, Anuskha Sharma is soon to join the club in her upcoming movie.

Anushka Sharma was last seen starring in Zero. She acted alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Although she has not announced a new film yet, if reports are to be believed, she is eager on playing a police official in her next film. Allegedly, the stunning and talented actress has already formulated a plan to commence preparations for the character as it requires a particular kind of body language and stance. Anushka is mindful of learning everything correctly. A reliable source was quoted saying, "Anushka is constantly looking for quality scripts and it seems like she has found a brilliant one that will see her play the role of a woman police officer." Apparently, she is extremely fond and excited about the project and wants to execute it with nothing short of perfection.

The source elaborated: "Anushka has always backed projects that are strong on content and this story has just blown her away. It’s a challenging role and will require her to undergo intense prep before she begins filming. The way she works, she will be devoting a lot of time getting into the skin of her character.” In addition, she is planning to take on the director's role. Rumors have it that she will be directing a film for her own production house.
