Anushka Sharma, Aayush Sharma Roped In For Satte Pe Satta Remake With Hrithik Roshan
Anushka Sharma will be seen sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan in the Satte Pe Satta remake, as Aayush Sharma plays the latter’s younger brother
In recent times, a lot of old Bollywood classics are either getting remakes or getting their sequels made decades later. There has already been confirmation of 1991’s Sadak coming back with a sequel, much like Sanjay Dutt reprising his role in another installment of the 90s cult classic, Khalnayak. Likewise, it was also announced that Amitabh Bachchan’s film Satte Pe Satta would also be getting a remake, but this time, Hrithik Roshan will play the lead. However, there were no reports on who the other cast members would be, or who would be reprising Hema Malini’s role from the original – until now.
Earlier, Hrithik too had denied from signing the film but it seems like the actor has indeed given a nod for the film. His character’s younger brother will be played by none other than Aayush Sharma, who starred in 2018’s Loveyatri. Moreover, Hrithik’s character’s love interest will be played by Anushka Sharma. A source close to the Satte Pe Satta team revealed, “Aayush Sharma has been roped in to play Hrithik Roshan’s younger brother in Satte Pe Satta Remake. Anushka Sharma will play Hrithik’s leading lady and this fresh pairing is surely going to be a hit.”
This will be the first time Hrithik and Anushka will be seen sharing screen space together. The latter was last seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero back in 2018, opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. On the other hand, she has also reportedly signed to work on a remake of Telugu hit film Arundhati, in which she will be seen next to superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan – another star that she will be sharing the screen with for the first time. However, no official announcement has been made so far. If all is confirmed, we can guarantee that Bollywood buffs are sure to have an amazing time with some of the most exciting pairings in the next few years.
