She said, "The part of us that is free, wild, open, curious can get shut down by life. By pain or by harm. My children know my true self, and they have helped me to find it again and to embrace it. They have been through a lot. I learn from their strength. As parents, encourage our kids to embrace all that they are, and all that they know in their hearts to be right, and they look back at us and want the same for us."
On the work front, Angelina can currently be seen in theatres as Maleficent. In an earlier interview, she confessed that after finalizing her divorce with Brad, she had a new found adoration for her character. She had said, “I've been through different things in my life and I was so happy to feel strong again and to have some fun. And I adore being her and there's something about her that I'm now very proud that I'm associated. Maybe I just needed to fully embrace it at this time in my life. Years ago when we first did it, I was like, ‘She's a bit wild and full-on and a bit much and fun.’”
