Stars world over are looked up to by their fans for multiple reasons. So much so, that their diehard followers go the extra mile to express their love for them. From a charity foundation in Ranveer Singh’s name to a dessert named after Sonam Kapoor Ahuja to a ‘Deepika Dossa’, we have been introduced to it all. However, now in a shocking revelation to us and the actor himself, a waterfall has been named after 76-year-old megastar Amitabh Bachchan. No, we are not kidding! The B-town actor was told about it in a Twitter exchange with one of his hardcore social media fans.
Big B’s fan wrote, "Can't come to Sikkim, and not go visit a place named after The Man." He captioned the post alongside a photograph of the famous waterfalls which are also known as the ‘Amitabh Bachchan Falls’. Yes, there is a waterfall in Sikkim which is named after one of Indian cinema’s biggest heroes and the undisputed icon of Bollywood.
Like many of the readers, even Big B got amused to know that fact that such waterfall actually existed. The actor reacted to the fan’s post and wrote, "That's not true is it ... the falls name?” Apparently, the reason the Sikkim waterfall has been given the name of ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ is because it is very tall. In other news, it was earlier revealed that Amazon Prime, one of India’s pioneering leading digital platforms has expressed its desire to cast Amitabh in one of its shows. The Paa actor had earlier stated that he would be interested to work with Amazon Prime and it seems like his wishes have been heard. The actor was recently asked if he would be willing to explore a digital platform as an actor. He said, "I am eager to work in the digital platform. Very nice web series are being made both in India and other countries. I would love to work in such series if someone approaches me."
