In the digital age, technology has advanced tenfold and now there’s an emoji for everything. So much so, there is a special day that is dedicated to emojis alone. On Wednesday, the world celebrated World Emoji Day and let’s face it, who doesn’t love a good old emoji? With hundreds of emojis out there, there is an emoji that represents every mood, every occasion and every emotion you could imagine. From the eye rolling emoji (which we use quite often) to the heart emoji and all the animal emojis, it is quite possible to have an entire conversation using just emojis.

Emojis now play an important role in our lives, especially for veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan who has a penchant for social media. Amitabh Bachchan quite regularly takes to social media to share updates about his life and what he’s been up to, and on World Emoji Day it was no different.

To celebrate World Emoji Day, the veteran actor took to Twitter and shared a picture of a series of emojis reacting to the decreasing level of a phones’s battery. Once translated, his tweet reads, ”Emoji, you have changed my language but we are celebrating a day for you as if we need you every day."

The tweet comes as no surprise as Amitabh Bachchan is often seen sharing status updates and posting throwback pictures on his Instagram account. Just recently he took to Instagram and posted a BTS picture from his film, Boss.

Amitabh Bachchan is currently gearing up for his upcoming film, Gulabo Sitabo. In the film, he will be playing a strict and stern landlord, who does not get along with his tenant. The film's shooting is currently taking place in Lucknow and will be Amitabh Bachchan's first film alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is expected to release on April 24, 2020. He will also be making an appearance in Brahmastra, Chehre, and a sports biography film called Jhund.
