After the success of Manikarnika, an all-out war has broken out between Kangana Ranaut and a section of technicians after all of them have come out together to attack the actress and accuse her of hijacking their work.
Scriptwriter Apurva Asrani has again claimed that Kangana hijacked his script and discredited him during the making of Simran which he wrote. The row erupted after the original Manikarnika director Krish came on camera and dissed Kangana.

Apurva Asrani was quick to join into the debate.
Whats going to hurt more brother Krish is that she will run a vicious smear campaign to destroy your credibility. And worse, a large section of the media, esp the pseudo feminists, will ignore your story like they did when Ketan Mehta & then I claimed she hijacked our films. Sad. https://t.co/QukNkY0odY— Apurva (@Apurvasrani) January 28, 2019
Soon former actor and director Pooja Bhatt chipped in to say that she finds the entire episode "wrong".
This is so wrong... on every level... this is not the industry I was born to and not the industry I wish to inherit. Eventually it is credit we work for... money comes & money goes... the first rule of filmmaking is to acknowledge people’s contribution. https://t.co/DhpYCTLTUs— Pooja Bhatt (@PoojaB1972) January 28, 2019
There is another reason why the controversy has gained ground. There is a leaked video of Sonu Sood doing the rounds, where Sonu Sood is shown as a very muscular figure and engaging in wrestling with the English colonialists. The replaced character, of course, is completely opposite to what has been shown here in the leaked video.
Here it is, take a look:
Looks like this war of words isn’t ending anytime soon.
