Alia Bhatt's Sassy Response to Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel’s Insults, “Mujhe isme padna hi nahi hai”
Alia Bhatt takes a stand against Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandal’s allegations. The young actress, who has been continuously targeted by Kangana and Rangoli, has yet again given a classy reply to both the sisters
Alia Bhatt, who has been continuously targeted by the actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandal, has yet again given a befitting reply to both the sisters.
From accusing Alia Bhatt of nepotism and calling her Karan Johar’s puppet to saying that her performance in Gully Boy was ‘mediocre’, Kangana Ranaut has been unstoppable with her accusations at the young actress.
Now that, Kangana’s accusations weren’t enough, her sister Rangoli Chandel has also been slamming Bhatt’s family these days. Recently, at an awards function, Alia Bhatt was asked to comment on Rangoli’s accusations. And just like before, Alia Bhatt gave a very classy and genuine response.
The actress told the media at a recent event held in Mumbai, "Agar mai aisi hoon (If I am like this), then my family is 10 times more mature and stronger than I am."
Just like her family, the young actress said that she prefers to not get involved in all the controversies surrounding her.
''Mujhe isme padna hi nahi hai (I don't want to indulge in this). I just want to be happy, positive, work hard, be a better version of myself every day,'' she added.
Referring to Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel, the Kalank actress slammed the sisters as she said, ''Log kya kahein kya na kahein (Whatever people say), I should not pay attention to it. Everybody has a right to say what they want to say.''
''Mai bas chup rahungi (I will just be tight-lipped), that's my thing,'' she further added.
Earlier, Kangana mocked Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for not participating in political conversations. The Manikarnika actress even called Ranbir irresponsible and advised him to think about his country as his home. However, when Alia Bhatt later on was asked to comment on Kangana’s accusations, the young actress supported the Queen actress and praised her for speaking candidly in public.
“I definitely don’t have that ability to speak as candidly as Kangana does and I really really respect her for that. And maybe in a way she is right that sometimes we do hold back.” She further added, “My dad always says that there are already so many opinions in the world, the world can do with one less opinion. So I have an opinion but I keep it to myself. But kudos to her because she genuinely speaks really well”, said Alia Bhatt.
Recently, Rangoli Chandel has been hijacking the spotlight from her sister. Taking to her Twitter handle, Rangoli made a shocking allegation – that once veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Alia Bhatt’s dad had thrown a shoe at Kangana!
In a series of fresh tweets on the micro-blogging website, Rangoli accused Mahesh Bhatt of throwing ‘chappal’ at 19-year-old Kangana during the screening of Woh Lamhe in 2006.
When Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan was asked to comment on it, she said “I do not wish to be drawn into this madness.”
Looks like the entire family is ‘classy’ and prefers to steer clear of such controversies.
On the workfront, Alia Bhatt was recently seen in a Karan Johar’s multi-starrer film Kalank. The young actress is now prepping for her upcoming films Brahmastra, Takht and RRR.
