Alia Bhatt is one of Bollywood’s top actors and being a celebrity who is constantly in the limelight, you need to look and feel good at all time. Alia Bhatt follows a strict fitness regimen and there’s no wondering she looks so good. Alia Bhatt was recently spotted at veteran actor Rishi Kapoor’s residence for his welcome party and currently has her hands full with lots of projects lined up for the next couple of months. It is pertinent to note however that with such a busy schedule and a hectic routine, the actress still manages to take time out for her daily workout and a recent video going viral on social media is proof!
The gym where Alia Bhatt works out, took to their social media pages to post a video of Alia Bhatt lifting some heavy weights and may we add, with so much ease. The fitness page was all praise for Alia Bhatt and made mention of the fact that she hadn’t lifted many weights in her life prior to becoming a fitness fiend. The video shows Alia Bhatt lifting 60kg and 70kg weights and completing three sets of these reps and girl, we are impressed.
“I’m going to give this star the credit she deserves. When she started off earlier this year - she hadn’t lifted weights too often in her life. It took a while to get her to start enjoying being strong - not skinny - strong! The first time she tried a deadlift, we used one single 20lb dumbbell and that wasn’t even 9 months back,” the post was captioned.
“A few weeks back she managed to get in 5 reps at 50 kgs and she rocked it. Today was lifting day and we felt we had the energy to push that weight a little higher,” the caption continued. After watching this video over and over again, we’re totally motivated to hit the gym and become strong like Alia Bhatt.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Alia Bhatt has her hands full with her lineup of films. She is currently gearing up for Brahamastra in which she will be starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sadak 2, which marks the return of her father, Mahesh Bhatt to directing. It will also be the first time she will be directed by her father. She also has the films Takht and Inshallah to look forward to. Ranbir Kapoor on the other hand is gearing up for Brahamastra and Shamshera.
